United Way of Treasure Valley
In 1,800 communities in more than 40 countries, United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of everyone in every community. We know that these three areas are the building blocks of a stable life for children and families. Here in the Treasure Valley, we fight for the 4,000 local students who are experiencing homelessness, including more than 1,400 in the Nampa School District alone. We fight so that they can feel safe, and supported and clean to help them graduate high school.
We fight to support pre-school so that children in low-income neighborhoods in Boise and Caldwell can have access to early learning opportunities to not fall behind.
But, we are more than just fundraisers. We are the hand-raisers. We are the stop talking, start doing, band-together workers who believe in breaking down the silos and working together. United Way brings everyone together—major corporations, banks, hospitals, small businesses, faith-based organizations, civic groups, schools, governments, and volunteers—because we know we can make a difference for local children and families, for our friends and neighbors, if we Live United.
