Public Works Department
The Public Works Department manages and maintains over 50 miles of roads within the City, including snow removal. Public Works also manages and maintains the culinary and secondary water system, and works in cooperation with Orem City to maintain the sewer system, which runs to the Orem City Waste Water Treatment Plant. Public Works staff also manages the City’s excellent storm drainage system, which continues to be improved as funding is available. The Public Works Director is also the cemetery sexton. Cemetery plots can be purchased and burial arrangements made by contacting the Public Works Department. Engineering functions are provided through a contract with JUB Engineers.
