Miller Ferry operates the only passenger/vehicle ferries to the Lake Erie Islands of Put-in-Bay (South Bass Island) and Middle Bass Island. All ferries depart from the tip of Catawba (end of SR 53). Miller Ferry to Put-in-Bay is a picturesque, relaxing ride lasting less than 20 minutes. They offer the lowest fares (Put-in-Bay one way adult: $9, child 6-11 yrs: $1.50, 5 yrs. and under free) and the most frequent trips, with ferries every half hour in the summer.
Miller Ferry to Middle Bass Island offers a scenic 40 minute ferry ride. Vehicle reservations are required and taken up to two weeks in advance by calling 800-500-2421. No reservations are necessary for passengers.
