Residential Treatment for Girls

Maryvale’s Residential Treatment Program serves girls, ages 8-18, removed from their homes by the Department of Children and Family Services. Most girls in residence at Maryvale have been profoundly traumatized by prior abuse, abandonment or neglect and suffer from the effects of numerous failed placements in foster care facilities.

Our residents typically have severe emotional disturbances and have been referred to Maryvale by the courts or government agencies because they require a higher level of professional intervention than most children and youth within the foster care system.
