When a disaster strikes your business or commercial property, the primary goals of your CTR recovery team are safety, scoping the loss, providing mitigation services and limiting interruption to your business and/or tenants.

After the disaster is mitigated, you move into the second phase, the reconstruction phase. No two disasters are the same and other factors come into play, the geographic area, the nature of the loss, the process required to repair the structure and to what extent you are affected by the loss. The loss can be extensive, perhaps including business property and equipment, electronics, computers, important documents, and books, along with furniture, carpeting, appliances, lighting fixtures, et cetera. The processes required to restore both the structure and the contents are as unique as you and your business or your tenant businesses and/or personal property.
