The Antelope Valley Union High School District is a proud sponsor of the National School Lunch Program. Food Services provides a broad-ranging and healthy menu program geared to today’s high school student. We offer meals from multiple outlets on campus to meet the time and social needs of all students. Our five-week cycle menus follow all guidelines associated with the Healthy and Hunger-Free Kids Act. Each menu reflects nutrition and value with student satisfaction our number one priority! The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being, and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.
Meals, foods, and beverages sold or served at our schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
