YOUTH FOR TROOPS DRIVE AT ‘VICTORS AND HEROES’

NVSO is proud to be supporting Youth for Troops at our "Victors and Heroes" concert! The mission of Youth For Troops is to inspire patriotism in fellow youth and across generations by volunteering on behalf of military and veterans through community service, advocacy, and education.

Among other things, their volunteers prepare and ship care packages to deployed troops and crochet plastic grocery bags into mats for homeless veterans. Make sure to stop by their table in the lobby to learn more, sign thank you notes to our troops, and please consider bringing the following items to the concert to donate to their mission:

Plastic grocery bags
Travel sized toiletries
Decks of cards/travel-sized games
Puzzle books (crossword, sudoku etc.)
Individual serving peanut butter
Small cookie and cracker packages
Beef Jerky/Tins of canned meats
Candy/Gum
Take out condiment and plasticware packets
