Southwest Alabama Behavioral Health Care Systems Division of Intellectual Disabilities provides Adult Training Services at the Escambia - (Brewton and Atmore), and Monroe - (Monroeville and Conecuh) Activity Centers.  These programs are designed for individuals 18 years of age and older who have been diagnosed as having Intellectual Disabilities.

Personal care services may be provided to individuals to assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, assistance with eating, incidental household cleaning, laundry and other activities of daily living.  A Personal Care worker may also provide assistance with an instrumental activity of daily living such as shopping, banking, budgeting, transportation, recreation, and other activities.
