The purpose of Land Development Engineering Services at EMC Engineering is to provide master planning and construction document preparation for land development projects. This process can involve a multitude of professionals from various disciplines, including attorneys, bankers, appraisers, brokers, architects, and marketing specialists. EMC provides professional surveyors, land planners, environmental specialists, engineers, and construction managers required for a successful land development project. The process begins with an inventory and analysis of existing conditions, identification of opportunities and constraints, and the development of feasible land use plans. Following this master planning process is the development of detailed construction plans and specifications of the proposed site infrastructure, including the paving, grading, drainage, soil erosion, and utilities associated with the site. These documents are often required to obtain development permits from state and local regulatory agencies prior to the initiation of construction.
