About Crossroads Community Church

Crossroads Community Church began as an idea of a group of people in 2001. The name came about because they wanted the church they were a part of to be a place where faith and life would meet together at the cross. This group, along with Pastor Don DeKok, an RCA church planter, formulated a mission statement that would say so much about who they want to be. And so it came together, "Crossroads Community Church is a welcoming family of God, where people's hearts are restored one at a time, and people become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ."

In June 2002, they began worshipping in the theater of the Estherville Lincoln Central High School. In April 2003, Pastor Jason Olson, a graduating seminary student, and his family were invited to come Palm Sunday to give the worship message. Soon the call was issued to Pastor Olson to become the leader of this church. Pastor Don and the church found an office on N. 6th Street that would become an office and meeting place.

In 2012, Jason Olson answered a call to pastor a church in Michigan. In August 2013, Rev. Michael Drew was installed as the new pastor.
