Dog Shelter – Adoption – Cat Spay Program – Licensing – Laws

Town Law requires all dogs residing in Shandaken must be licensed. A valid rabies certificate is required.

Dog License Application Form – available @ Town Clerk

Cat Spay Available for Shandaken Residents (full time) $25 – Purchase voucher at Town Clerk’s Office. Use at the Mobile Vet Van when they are at Town Hall, or contact them to see where they will be.

The Mobile Vet Van will be here on  SATURDAY MARCH 9, 2019 – Town Hall.

DOGS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION:

Lola – Sweet Older Female 6 or 7 yr. old. Friendly when not fenced. Chow/Lab mix. No other Cats/Dogs. Likes to play outside. Fenced in yard preferable. She loves all her toys and would rather play with them & sleep with them then tear them apart. She just wants your full attention. She loves having her belly rubbed. Lola is up to date in her shots and spayed.
