The Missouri Athletic Club is a private athletic, dining, social and business club with locations in downtown St. Louis and West St. Louis County.
Since its establishment in 1903, the MAC has been an influential organization in the St. Louis community beginning with hosting dignitaries and athletes for the 1904 Olympics and Worlds Fair. In 2007, the Downtown Clubhouse was added to the National Register of HistoricPlaces.
Today, nearly 2,500 business, professional and civic leaders and their families comprise the MACs membership. Approximately, 350 staff personnel serve the membership throughout the year.
Since 2000, Club Leaders Forum has recognized the MAC as a Platinum Club of America. This designation is award to the top 5% of private clubs in the United States for exceptional innovation, management, and standards of service and excellence.
