At the DMH Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, we are changing the way people think about surgery by presenting surgical options for a variety of procedures that offer distinct benefits for the patient.
In December 2006, Decatur Memorial Hospital acquired the revolutionary daVinci® Robotic Surgical System enabling surgeons the ability to offer a minimally invasive option for complex surgical procedures. In September 2011, Decatur Memorial Hospital upgraded this robotic-assisted surgical system to the new da Vinci® Si™ Surgical System third-generation technology. In 2017, DMH upgraded to the vastly improved “Xi” version. It is fundamentally a quantum leap from the previous versions. Learn More.
