Health, wellness, and nutrition are all elements of a balanced and positive lifestyle, and so we feature each in our One Step Beyond curriculum. We incorporate healthy physical activity and effective nutritional coaching into each day's activities, and also provide opportunities for specific areas of fitness. These include the following:

Participation in Special Olympics Athletic Programs and competitions year-round. As an official delegation through Special Olympics Arizona, One Step Beyond participates in regional aquatics, softball, soccer, bocce ball, bowling, basketball, track and field, flag football, and volleyball competitions.
