Northeast Off-Road Adventures & Hunter Mountain are excited to announce several miles of new 4×4 trails opening in 2018. Our scenic 4×4 tours now offer three options!
Enjoy an exciting day driving your vehicle for miles on mountain trails with NORA instructors & guides by your side. This family-friendly event does not require any previous off-road driving experience but vehicles must have 4-Low gearing and recovery points. Drive on remote logging trails that include a stream crossing and mud field. Test your skills on our proving ground obstacle course with rocks, logs, ditches, and tips on how to get unstuck. Experience a steep hill climb to our scenic 3200′ summit where your group will enjoy a picnic lunch (included) with spectacular views of the Catskill Mountains.
If one day is not enough, you can arrive a day earlier for more off-road adventure and fun. Stay at Hunter Mountain’s premier Kaatskill Mountain Club Lodge, enjoy delicious meals, an off-road driving warm-up and campfire stories with NORA staff (and s’mores!)
