Laboratory Services

The Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) accredits the Laboratory at Magruder Hospital.

Stringent inspection of the laboratory's records and quality control procedures, along with examination of the entire staff's qualifications, the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory, ensures the highest standard of care for the laboratory's patients.

The Laboratory at Magruder Hospital has earned AABB Accreditation. AABB is formerly known as the American Association of Blood Banks. This Accreditation demonstrates the laboratory's commitment to advanced learning, continuous improvement and innovation by striving to sustain the highest level of both patient and donor care.

The laboratory is staffed 24 hours a day. Many of our services require that you register prior to going to the lab. During regular business hours, please register at Outpatient Registration. On Saturdays, Outpatient Registration is open from 7:00am - 3:00pm. Many Outpatient services require a physician's order, but some do not. If you have questions about a procedure, please call us at 419-734-3131 ext. 3420.

Outpatient Hours are:

Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 7:00am - 2:00pm
Sunday: No Outpatient hours

Pre-Employment Drug Screenings:

Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Saturday: 8:00am - 1:30pm
