The City of Sylvester is served by the Worth County School System.  We are proud to say Worth County Schools provide quality education reconized across the state for our primary, elementary, middle and high school students. Worth County High School, home of the Rams, is the lone high school forour community. Currently, our high school houses grades 9-12, and has a school population of approximately 1045 students.

The Middle School houses grades 6-8 with a population of 

Worth County Elementary School serves grades 3-5 with a population of 780 students. 

Worth County Primary School serves  grades Pre-K-2  with 1200 students

The Worth County School System’s dual enrollment efforts with Southern Regional Technical College received recognition from Georgia’s Innovation in Education Conference. This dual enrollment programs allow high school students to obtain high school and technical college credit simultaneously. Over 80 high school students participate in this program annually. 

Adult Literacy Center
