Student Activities

Many student activities are available at each Central Arizona College campus.  Student activities are sponsored by college departments, clubs and organizations, and the Student Government Association.

The first activities for the fall 2017 semester will be during Welcome Week.  Welcome Week will be August 21-31, 2017, at the Signal Peak campus and August 21-24, 2017, at other campuses.

Do not miss Club Rush from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017, at the Signal Peak campus in the O Building breezeway.  Virtually every CAC club will have representatives available.  Take advantage of the opportunity to meet people interested in the same things you are.  Select a club you like, learn when it meets, and try it!  To contact a club officer, see the Clubs and Organization website.

Get involved in the Student Government Association, the district-wide organization that is the voice for CAC students.  See the Student Government Association webpage.

Founded in 1961 as the Pinal County Junior College District, Central Arizona College launched its initial class of students seven years later to become the first and still the only college in Pinal County. CAC has been committed to act as a catalyst for economic and cultural vibrancy and to inspire individuals to pursue their unique goals.

The institution is overseen by the Pinal County Community College Governing Board, a leadership group elected by voters to help guide the institutions growth. The five-person board is comprised of county residents selected from specific geographic areas with a president annually chosen by the board members to lead the organization.
