Whether you are a produce expert or just exploring cooking in your home kitchen, we hope to expand your knowledge and enjoyment of one of the worlds’ oldest and most widely-used vegetables--the onion.

David Peri took a liking to the idea of growing onions when he was only 18 years old, and for decades now he has been passionately farming a wide variety of them. Currently we grow white, yellow, red, sweet and organic onions, and all of our onions are grown, packed and shipped direct for our farm, following strict certified guidelines for food safety, traceability and sustainability.

The only thing that Peri & Sons likes more than growing onions, is spreading the word about how wonderful they are. In this section we’ll share what we know about: the history of onions; the differences between onion varieties; the health benefits of onions and why buying onions Grown in the U.S.A. is important.

We are sure that once you become familiar with onions, especially our onions, they will become an indispensable part of your culinary routine, because to know them is to love them.
