Repton Restoration Society, Inc.

The Repton Restoration Society, Inc.was established in an attempt to breathe new life into what used to be a busy, thriving little Railroad Town. Repton used to boast several banks, hotels, stores, livery stable, cotton gin, the only hospital between Selma & Pensacola with the only Board Certified Surgeon in the surrounding area(1930’s) and one heck of an athletic & academic program at Repton High School.

As transportation shifted to trucking, Repton lost most of its business’, and lost its high school to “Consolidation”. This impact turned this once vivacious little town into a literal Ghost Town. The History is Rich! And, with hard work, we will accomplish this New Life.

Our Mission:

The Repton Restoration Society, Inc. vows to restore, preserve and uphold for future generations, all that embodies the spirit of Repton, its History and its Community.

All monies raised benefit the Community of Repton.

When I look at the little ghost town of Repton, I see Beauty! History! And enormous Potential!! When people are pessimistic about this project, I just smile and say Im from Disney World, I think anything is possible!
