The Gate at The Murieta Inn and Spa aims to be a one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar that will service visiting hotel guests and area locals alike. Following the tenets of the “Farm to Fork” movement, Chef will seek inspiration from The Inn’s own five-acre farm and state-of-the-art greenhouse to create the Inn’s Seasonal menus. Chef will work closely with local ranchers to secure the restaurant’s meats, poultry and even fish from nearby Passmore Ranch. Menus will consist of bright yet hearty fare representing America’s regional cuisines and will feature a wide variety of scratch made products from the farm. Grains will also be represented as The Gate will maintain a full bakery program creating the Inn’s breads, desserts and other baked goods.
