Hop it up with friends at one of Rancho Cordova’s craft breweries. Sure, Rancho Cordova is known for as home to hardworking Fortune 500 companies, but when it’s time to chill out, American River Brewing Company, Claimstake Brewing, and Lockdown Brewery offer flavorful ales, porters and IPA’s that will enlighten the palate and invite conversation. Make plans for dinner at M. Shahrzad Fine Persian Cuisine, noted as the best Persian restaurant in the region, or for flair and fusion, head to Mints Euro Asian Cuisine.
The California State Railroad Museum is a must see. Sure you’ll run into plenty of families at this museum, but the trains are so spectacular, you don’t want to miss this California gem. Plus, historic Old Sacramento is right out the door, with bars and boutiques. You can even catch a train ride.
Tip: Catch a show at the Harris Center for the Arts. From dance to music to plays, this three-stage venue has something to offer year-round.
