Fran Pritchard and the Killer Salsa Story

In 1992 Fran Pritchard was a food service manager in the San Francisco Bay area. Every morning she made Fresh Salsa for her breakfast customers to put on their eggs, potatoes and breakfast burritos. Her customers called it Killer Salsa and said she should go into business. In 1993 she started the business in Gardnerville, Nevada when she could not find a job.

After making fresh salsa for 8 years, the company decided to branch out into making shelf stable Killer Salsa. Many of our customers feel that the flavor of the cooked is more intense than our fresh! It does not need refrigeration until it is opened. The flavors are Original, Garlic Picante, Fire Roasted Tomato, Hot Picante, XX Hot Picante, Salsa Verde, and Smoked Chipotle.

One year we had a booth at the Genoa Candy Dance Arts and Craft in Genoa, Nevada. We made Nacho Cheese sauce using our Killer Salsa and Aged Cheddar Cheese. All of the customers tasted it and said How much? We said it was not for sale and they asked, Why Not?! So we added Killer Salsa Nacho Cheese Sauce to the family! It is also shelf stable and does not need refrigeration until opened. All of our products are made without Fat or Food Additives and are packaged in 16 ounce glass jars.

Enjoy!
