The 54,000 square-foot Sunny Isles Beach Government Center opened in January 2005, is located in a pedestrian friendly area at the heart of the City.

The Government Center presents its most public expression toward Collins Avenue and is represented by the Commission Chamber surrounded by a civic plaza combining landscape, water, and contrasting building materials. This is where the serious business of running the City is conducted. Meetings are generally held the third Thursday of each month.
