Black Canyon

Black Canyon is truly one of those unique places to visit.
This canyon was formed by the Colorado River and lies just below the mighty Hoover Dam where the canyon walls rise nearly 2,000 feet from the river's edge. It offers a great River Rafting tour, boat rentals, and exquisite sites.
The El Rancho Boulder Motel is a family owned and operated business that still believes in courteous service. All of our rooms have both refrigerators and microwaves, or you can request a room with a full kitchen (stove, oven, sink, plates, silverware, etc.). Our swimming pool is solar heated and we have three BBQ's in the pool area for an after boating cook-out or because you prefer to cook your own steak. The BBQ's are for all of our guests use.
The El Rancho is a great stop over if you are going to Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, or if you're in town for Mountain Biking, BMX Racing or Art in the Park. Boaters are always welcome, and you can normally see your boat from your room. While Boulder City is a very quiet little town, we are only 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip which is shorter time wise than driving from one end of the strip to the other. We hope to see soon.
