The Walls Unveiling

On October 29th over 150 people attended the unveiling of The Walls, a new art exhibit consisting of two 9’x17’ steel frames which features eight artists and their 8’x8’ murals. The sustainable steel frame design will allow for an ongoing rotation with new artists selected biannually. Artists for this installment of the exhibit are Billy Hensler, Cara Jean Means, Hayley Barry, Korra Cottle, Markus Long, Reid Justin Robison, Ryan Worwood, and Sierra Cottle. There is something for everyone! The diversity of The Walls will appeal to all ages and artistic styles.

Summerisa Bell Stevens, President of the nonprofit says, “This art exhibit is truly a first of its kind in the area and only the beginning for our organization. We have brought an art gallery outside, so now it is accessible to everyone. It is incredible what a community can do when it comes together to support the arts.”

This project has only been possible through the generous support of our community. Donors include Adobe, Diamond Rental, WOI Steel, Evan Ault, Glassey SteelWorks, Menlove Construction, Altaview Concrete, Lehi Block Company, Valley View Landscaping LLC, Intricate Builders, and Allied Electric Sign & Awning. Hundreds of work hours have been donated as community members have come together to weld, pour cement, landscape, and paint.
